In this workshop, we’ll explore the art of painting still life, working with various objects and compositions to challenge ourselves and grow as artists. The renowned teacher Charles Hawthorne famously remarked, "Great artists never stop painting still life."
John Lasater, with years of experience leading still life retreats, brings a wealth of objects to paint and a deep well of expertise to guide students. His approach may just inspire a fresh appreciation for this timeless genre.
Workshop will be from 9am to 5pm each day with a 1.5 hr lunch break.
