It has been an interesting few years since I stepped off the plein air event gravy train. Though the prospects of art opportunities seemed like they would diminish, they haven't. God proved that He comes through when we follow Him in faith, even weak faith like mine. I hope you accept and enjoy God's love this Christmas season.

Poster for John's Retrospective Show at John Brown University

An artist is usually pretty old before they have their first retrospective show. So what does that say about me, hah?! It was a huge honor to craft and hang the "Exploring a Painter's Life" at my alma mater of John Brown University. Many students have now seen the show, and from what I hear it has been an encouragement to see the chronological and candid format I chose. It's not to late to visit...open till December 21.
