A retreat just for still life painting

As part of my ongoing effort to offer long-term painting community support, I want to invite any artist, of any skill level, to join the Views Community of Painters for a five-day Still Life Retreat at the Mountain Harbor Resort on Lake Ouachita in Arkansas. What is a still life retreat?

A still life retreat is held in a large sized studio room with lots of still life setups for you to use for inspiration. You can even bring your own objects that you've been wanting to paint. We will provide plenty of objects, surfaces, and lighting to get the creative juices going.

For our inaugural Views plein air retreat, we all met and camped together at Palo Duro Canyon, in Canyon, Texas. We had three full days of painting together in some pretty intense heat, but everyone worked hard and enjoyed it. In October of 2022 we will go back again, so stay in touch by joining the Views Community of Painters Facebook Group.
