New Studies
It has been quite a year for paintings that make me stretch. These
"Studies" continue to be uploaded to my site, and I'm excited your
continued response to them...many have sold. While it seemed to be
outdoor landscapes in the Fall, it has definitely been a switch to
still life studies in the Winter and Spring.
Be sure and scroll down further to see a summary of the 2nd Annual
Still Life Retreat for my Views Community. We were full, with 18
artists, and sadly had to turn away a few more because of capacity.
I'm also glad to show you a few of the paintings I will be displaying
when I go to the Grand Canyon in September to participate in the 2023
Grand Canyon Celebration of Art. See them below.

2nd Annual Views Community Still Life Retreat
This was the second year the Views Community has converged on Mountain
Harbor Resort on Lake Ouachita in the dead of winter. AND, for the
second year in a row, we narrowly missed a destructive ice storm while
blissfully painting still life to our hearts content. Eighteen
dedicated artists came for a week and made a case for the blessed
benefits of community.

Couple of Interviews to Check Out
It's great to get to give back to the artist community by teaching and
inspiring, whenever I get the chance. I'm linking a couple of
